363. I Can’t Stop Singing This Song
Andrew hates this song. Which is funny, because
- he’s the one who introduced me to Rivers Cuomo
- he’s the one who listened to nothing but Weezer for all of 1999 and 2000, and
- he’s the one who currently listens to nothing but NPR and WXRT, which — as far as I know — are the only stations in Chicagoland who not only contemplated playing that song, but actually did it. More than once each.
Maybe it’s because it was written by Jermaine Dupri? It has an awful message, but it’s stuck in my head.
Plus, it’s currently followed in my playlist by “Addicted To Love“, which nobody doesn’t like.
